About

Welcome to the Black Heart Association and Sunshine Open Door Foundation, where we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on heart health within the black community and supporting foster care alumni on their journey to independence.

Founded on the belief that life is too short not to live boldly, give back, and engage in conversations that contribute to black excellence, we are thrilled to present our second annual "Living in Color!" Dinner Retreat Fundraiser. This event is a testament to our commitment to creating positive change within our community.

At the heart of our mission is the desire to foster meaningful connections and empower individuals to think beyond boundaries. Our event, led by some of DFW's most enlightened influencers, offers an engaging platform to encourage discussions that inspire innovation and spread positivity.

Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with special guest appearances, a Healthy Dinner, soulful Music, an exciting Black Business Silent Auction, a Cash Bar, Vendor Giveaways, and much more. By participating, you not only support our cause but also become a part of a vibrant community dedicated to making a difference.

We invite you to immerse yourself in this celebration of unity, positivity, and black excellence. Together, let's weave a stronger fabric for our community and create a legacy of change.
